“on that Day”: A Trilogy is a trilogy of Bible-based books by Thomas Fitzhugh Sheets. It is composed of the following books: Book #1: The Death of the Promise; Book #2: The Resurrection of the Promise; and Book #3: The Land of the Promise.
Originally, the author did not intend to put them together. However, they have a certain theme that merged the books into one idea: The Promise of the Second Coming of Christ. Sheets uses scriptures that guide the readers in solemn supplementary readings, page after page.
“on that Day” presents ideas that may challenge the theology of the church. It uses the Parable of the Ten Virgins from the Book of Matthew to let its readers reflect on the Lord's Second Coming. Some readers might be familiar with the story already as the parable follows the story of ten virgins, five who have been preparing for the coming of the groom and another five who did not do anything to prepare. Those who were unprepared went to the market to buy oil and got locked out of the palace, while those who had everything under preparation were blessed with being in the shelter with the bridegroom.
It also follows the teaching of Paul, as it brings in the spiritual issues that the people should overcome while waiting for their time to see the light of their efforts. Faithful readers may still learn from the parables and the faith-based teachings in the books as they get to delve deeper into the scriptures. Thomas Fitzhugh Sheets aims to enlighten his readers to always be prepared for the Second Coming of Jesus Christ.
